The comfiest sleep haven

Midifluff down duvet from Happy Fluffy Cloud is a large, medium warm, and fluffy down duvet. Packed with down and feathers, it features a sturdy support channel around a large down pocket in the center of the duvet. This means that the down doesn't escape to the outer edges but remains in the middle. The duvet will need a bit of fluffing to distribute the down filling evenly and requires its space in the bed. However, sleeping under Midifluff, you'll also experience that the duvet not only holds and provides warmth in cold weather but also regulates temperature when it's warm. A luxurious, lofty down duvet for those who loves life to be a bit extra (...and prefer to sleep tucked in).

Q&A

Why should I choose a Happy Fluffy Cloud duvet?

Do you enjoy a cozy sleep with warmth and weight? Then this is your new sleeping buddy! The duvet is both cozier, larger and fluffier than any other duvet on the market. You've never experienced a duvet like this before, and that alone is thrilling.

What IS a fluffy duvet?

Sleep cloud, fluffy duvet, down duvet... this type of duvet has many names and surely even more descriptions. Happy Fluffy Cloud is our vision of a classic down duvet with the best natural properties for a good night's sleep. Our Midifluff duvet only has channel stitching in the other edges which means that not all the down can accumulate in a pile on the outer edges, top, or bottom. However, the down can still gather in a pile on one side in the middle of the duvet. The duvet is therefore essentially a "bag", with the perfect amount of filling for comfortable weight and cozy warmth. Our Midifluff single duvet weighs 2.5 kilos and that's the cool thing about this duvet - that a fluffy duvet can feel both airy and heavy at the same time.

What are the advantages of a fluffy duvet?
A high and fluffy duvet creates a cozy, "snug nest". Under a heavier duvet, we fall asleep more easily and sleep deeper as the body settles and stays still. The down duvet's ability to provide warmth and regulate temperature is also an incredible advantage. That's why the vast majority absolutely LOVE their Happy Fluffy Cloud sleep clouds.

What does the lack of channel seams mean?

The Midifluff duvet only has channel seams in the very edges which means that not all the down can accumulate in a pile on the outer edges, top, or bottom. However, the down can still gather in a pile on one side in the middle of the duvet. This may feel unusual, but it's also why this duvet is perceived as more luxurious than others. The absence of channel stitching means that the down lies freely within the duvet and moves at its own will. Therefore, the duvet should be shaken before you get under it in the evening. A good shake to redistribute the down, fluff it up, and put it in its place. This allows your duvet to regain its astonishing fluffiness.

Learn to handle a duvet without channel stitching!
Down and feathers typically fully expand after a few days, having been somewhat compressed for packaging during transportation. Therefore, it may take a few nights to get to know the duvet's full potential. It may also require a bit of practice to achieve the optimal sleep under this sleep cloud – the down needs a little help to be distributed as you prefer. So, sweep the down with your arm to distribute the filling throughout the duvet. In general, you may need to spend a few extra seconds when making your bed after your heavenly sleep experience, but it's mostly just unfamiliar and might seem a bit cumbersome at first. Once you fall in love with the duvet, you won't care that it takes over your bed and doesn't lie as flat as your previous (boring?) duvet.

What is the difference between a duvet and a comforter?

Duvets are more commonly used in Europe and is a soft bag filled with down and feathers, designed to be inserted into a duvet cover which can be washed, and are known for their warmth and insulation. While comforters are standalone blankets with built-in quilting and are more popular in the United States. Unlike a duvet, a comforter is typically sewn or quilted to keep the filling evenly distributed.

Is it very warm under the duvet?

Down possesses fantastic thermal properties. It provides warmth, insulation, and ventilation, essentially acting like a thermostat, allowing a thick down duvet to regulate temperature. A duvet from Happy Fluffy Cloud is filled with carefully selected goose down and feathers, which have less fat content than, for example, duck down. This facilitates quick and efficient moisture removal. Additionally, you can distribute the down as you prefer – more down towards the feet or thick and warm on top over the chest.
So the answer is yes, it's guaranteed to be warm under the fluffy duvet, but very rarely sweaty.
(Psst! Those who are very cold sleepers will prefer Megafluff, while Midifluff is somewhat cooler).

What happens if I don't like the duvet?

As duvets are hygiene products, you cannot return a duvet you unpacked from the bag/used and slept with. Only unused quilts in original packaging (bag) are accepted as returns. We are therefore happy to help guide you in the right direction in our fluffy world!
Experiencing that a blanket is too warm, too heavy or too big is usually a matter of habit! We both believe and hope that you will fall in love with (...and even fall in love with) your down comforter. It is most likely that you need a short break-in period. Down and feathers usually only expand fully after a few days, after being slightly compressed in packaging before transport. It may therefore take a few nights to get to know the quilt's full potential. It may also take some practice to get the optimal sleep under this sleeping cloud - the down needs a little help on the trot to be distributed as you prefer.
